Piccolo Mondo is truly one of the most picturesque fine dining restaurants in the greater Pittsburgh area. Our cuisine is Italian-American with an emphasis on top quality seafoods, meats, and produce. Piccolo Mondo’s wine list has been nationally recognized and honored by wine spectator and boasts more than 250 bottles of wine. Our attire requirements are business casual and we accept reservations for two or more, but reservations are not required. We also accept all major credit cards and are happy to supply our guest with gift certificates upon request. Our banquet facilities can hold parties or affairs from 10- 200 people. Our tranquil lounge is the perfect spot to relax and have a leisurely cocktail or great appetizer with friends, family, or business associates.

Piccolo Mondo was established in 1986 from a combination of two of Pittsburgh’s most famous restaurateurs, Rico Lorenzini and Tony Settembre. In the year 2002 Piccolo Mondo was purchased by Mark Riccardi a journeyman chef in the Pittsburgh area for more than 24 years. Mark has worked at various hotels, country clubs and restaurants throughout Pittsburgh, with stints in Washington DC and New York. Mark along with his wife Patti as the proud new owners, have preserved the honor of Piccolo Mondo’s past, along with some new and subtle changes that makes Piccolo Mondo a restaurant for today’s diner.
